In The Window Placement - Winter Break & Submission Deadline
Over the winter break, I took some time to think about the upcoming exhibition ready to write a proposal for the deadline on the 4th of January. Using my notes from both the proposal-writing lecture given by Rebecca Davies and those I made throughout the selection process for the previous exhibition, I made a rough plan for my proposal with different sections for the information needed ie. an explanation fo the work and how it would be installed, the resources required and images to illustrate the installation. I then typed it up and made sure to proof read it several times for any missing information or grammar and spelling mistakes. Before sending on the deadline date, I went over the proposal a final time to make sure it included everything I wanted and read well.
Glen at AirSpace responded quickly thanking me for sending the application and for doing so on time but said he would take a few days to look it over and reply with feedback. By the end of that week, Glen replied again to say he was happy with the application and had no questions which I considered to be a good sign! From this point, I had only to prep both my work and my tools for the installation date.
